Performance: McGee registered 394 yards passing and three touchdowns, and also ran for two more scores and 103 yards on 14 carries as the Cougars stopped St. Alban’s 42-35 in a shootout.
Most memorable pass: “Has to be the game-winning touchdown pass to Teddy Gorrell to win the state championship.”
Funniest teammate: “Russell Harper, the running back. He always has something funny to add. He’s always got something to say.”
Two sports: “I think the key thing is having the love for both of them. That’s what I love to do. Continuing to work at it every day to put the time in. Makes it worth while.” McGee is a football and basketball standout for Collegiate.
Favorite subject: “History.”
Toughest opponent: “Woodberry Forest. They’re next.”

On coach Mark Palyo: “He’s a real smart coach. We’re always on the same page, which makes everything work. He does well with what he’s given.”
Offensive TD or INT?: “My favorite’s the big hit. I got to have two this past weekend.”
On college: “I’m still trying to enjoy this year before thinking too much about college.” McGee will attempt to play both sports for the University of Richmond.
